Louise Jane is a fully qualified Freelance Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist, based near Bristol, but regularly works in London and is able to travel and work all over the UK and internationally.
Louise trained to become a Hair and Makeup Artist at the elite Bath Academy of Media Makeup and has been trained by Oscar & BAFTA award winning hair and makeup designer, Peter Swords King and other great industry professionals, in media makeup and hair. Louise has trained at the highest level to work in TV/Film, Theatre, Bridal, Fashion & Editorial, SFX Wounds, Body Art, Commercials, Wig and Postiche application.
On completion of her course at Bath Academy of Media Makeup, Louise has gone on to work with brands big and small in both photographic and media. Louise is also signed to Agencies in London and is a published makeup artist.
Louise has worked on the main team of BBC’s Father Brown Series Nine doing 1950s hair and makeup and is now currently working on the main for a TV series for ITV, which will be aired next year. Louise has also gathered experience working in crowd on the feature film Spiderman Far from Home, Season Five of Poldark, The Spanish Princess Season Two, War of the Worlds Season 3 and has also worked as a trainee daily on the main team for Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Louise has also worked on commercials for Dyson and Cadbury as well as many music videos, including for the Kingdom Choir.
Louise can work independently, but loves working as part of a team. She is an upmost professional, who is 100% reliable, passionate, friendly, calm under pressure, able to use her own initiative and is a good listener.
